The 36th Annual International Congress of the European Hernia Society was conducted in Edinburgh from May 28, 2014 to May 31, 2014 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre ( EICC ). The congress was based on the themes explored in previous EHS congresses and a large number of participants having a wide range of interests in studying Hernia attended the event. The congress provided an open forum to discuss the diagnosis and treatment of abdominal wall abnormalities and the techniques, advances and science of Hernia repair.
